Rhythm Study (2016)
“Rhythm Study” is a short dance film of improvisation with a soundtrack by Coila-Leah Enderstein, of instant composition with two hands and prepared piano. Coila transcribed the soundtrack into a score (below).
the film and score were presented at the Joburg Fringe (2016) and at the National Art Gallery of Namibia in Windhoek as part of a group exhibition titled Conversations (2016), where the score was purchased. the score was also published in the Rhythm issue of Any Body Zine.
