Etymology of a Serpent-Bearer (2026)

this was a solo performance created for the Archive of the Stars group exhibition that took place in Berlin, June 2026 where over 70 artists, all of whom had attended a League of Stars residency, shared work connected to a specific star.

the star i was working with was Rasalhague from the Ophiuchus constellation also known as the Serpent-Bearer. Rasalhague is the main star in this constellation. the work looked into various translations and etymologies connected with this star as well as mythologies surrounding the origin story of Eve and the Snake.

i produced a zine to accompany this performance which you can see here. i also worked on the curatorial team for the exhibition.
