horoscopes for scorpio season (23 oct – 21 nov 2025)

Scorpio season marks the middle of spring in the southern hemisphere and the middle of autumn in the northern hemisphere

…Scorpio is a fixed sign meaning it marks the middle of a season in the four-season system of a year. we can interpret fixed energy as stabilising energy that maintains, solidifies and cultivates what began in the previous cardinal sign. Scorpio is a water sign, which makes it a “nocturnal” or “feminine” sign. it is associated with the planet Mars.

i find Scorpio energy to be emotional, quiet, powerful and embodied. to me, it sort of takes the quick social air energy of Libra, and allows whatever topics of relationality that emerged in Libra season to become embodied. to sink and settle into the depth of the flesh and make space for the challenges and transformational conflicts that come with being in deep relation.

there is something about Scorpio that always makes me think of depth, of seeking behind, beyond, beneath. as a water sign governed by Mars, Scorpio evokes the courage required to dive deep, to ask taboo questions and seek uncomfortable answers.

Mars is the necessary counter-energy to Venus, and likes to disrupt things. in this way, we can thank Scorpio for making space for the ugly, the scary and the ever-important topics of fear, death and transformation. Scorpio makes me think of graveyards, heavy metal, compost and the devastating therapy sessions where you come away changed.

there is also something somewhat secretive and strategic to Scorpio energy, which i think comes from the nocturnal expressions of Mars.

some keywords we can associate with Scorpio are: arcane / intuitive / enigmatic / cunning / perceptive. (remember, this doesn’t necessarily mean people with a Scorpio sun always connect with these words, rather i am speaking to the archetypal quality of the zodiac sign itself.)

in keeping with Scorpionic energy, this month’s horoscopes are written as slightly bossy cryptic riddles, with some etymology thrown in to honour Scorpio’s desire to get to the bottom of a thing 🙂

trust your limits
go beyond your despair

something very stable emanates from your center, so circle your body
and access the center through peripheral action.

choose three different things
let them be your guides.

homecomings are anchors that prepare
you for the next journey.
you already know how to dig, now
is time to learn how to drift.
