Etymology of a Serpent-Bearer (zine, 2026)

“Etymology of a Serpent-Bearer” is a publication that i made to accompany the solo performance of the same name. the text is a collection of writings around my ongoing research into the star Rasalhague, the main star in the constellation of Ophiuchus, also known as the Serpent-Bearer. both the performance and the publication explore the mythologies and etymologies behind this star, proposing different perspectives of snakes, knowledge-production, gender and the figure of Eve in the Garden of Eden origin story.
